01.
The Problem

Online art viewing is typically flat and uninspiring. The objective was to bring the feeling of walking through a physical gallery to the web, allowing for more natural discovery and appreciation of artworks.

I created a 3D environment using Three.js and React Three Fiber. The navigation logic allows users to 'walk' and 'look' around naturally. I implemented specific shaders for lighting and texture to make the environment feel grounded, while React handles the UI overlays for artwork details.

02.
The Approach

03. The Result

A fully interactive 3D gallery running smoothly in the browser. Users can explore collections intuitively, bridging the gap between physical exhibitions and digital access.
