01.
The Problem

Showcasing a cinematographer's portfolio demands serving high-fidelity images and videos without compromising web performance. The challenge was to deliver cinema-quality assets that remain fluid and accessible across diverse devices and network conditions, while maintaining a bold, 'brutalist' design philosophy.

I engineered a robust media pipeline using AWS S3 for storage and CloudFront for global edge delivery to ensure instant load times. Built with Next.js and Tailwind, the frontend eschews standard libraries for custom raw CSS grids, while GSAP powers immersive, high-performance interactions that treat the viewport as a dynamic canvas.

The Approach

03. The Result

The result is a fluid, high-quality website where heavy media content feels weightless. It not only reinforces a distinct personal brand but demonstrates how rigorous engineering can make high-end visual content accessible and responsive on any connection.
